About Me
As a native of the metro Atlanta/North Georgia area, Elaine Stephens has seen a myriad of changes in the area over the past thirty years. It has been her pleasure to help her clients
navigate these changing waters as they seek to create a home and build a community in
which they can take part in all Atlanta has to offer, raise a family, enjoy friends, or even just
simplify their lives.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia, Elaine earned her
Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law and practiced Intellectual Property law in the Washington D.C. area. When she
returned to Atlanta, she worked for a major computer company negotiating multi-million
dollar system purchase and software licensing agreements with major government entities.
Taking a few years off for family, she returned to the work force with a desire to get out from
behind a desk and utilize the skills she acquired in the legal world in a different capacity.
There are so many things Elaine enjoys about helping people with their real estate goals: The
variety of tasks requiring the constant honing of skills, the unpredictable schedule that demands flexibility but also offers variety, the fact that every single transaction offers a new learning opportunity or the chance to further some new skill. She even finds that the fluidity of the market and the ever-changing rules that keep her at the top of her game. But, certainly, the best part has been the satisfaction of having been a positive part of someone’s life during a time which can be simultaneously exciting and stressful. It is Elaine’s
goal to step into the shoes of every client and understand what is most important to him or
her. Then, to do her best to represent that individual as she would want to be represented,
alleviating as much of the uncertainty of the experience as possible and to assuring that the
process flows smoothly.
Elaine works with both Buyers and Sellers and is knowledgeable about most north Atlanta
communities including Buckhead, Chastain, Vinings, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody,
Roswell, Milton, Johns Creek and Alpharetta.
Elaine and her team utilize aggressive marketing and up-to-date tech tools, out-of-the-box
ideas and distinctive, high end presentations for their listing clients. And listening is the key
when working with Buyers, mindful of their timeframe and offering perspective while
appreciating their priorities, concerns and, ultimately, decisions. Fine-tuned communications
systems and professional support help facilitate successful transactions. Staying current with
local market conditions and keeping clients informed as how those conditions affect their
home buying and selling transaction ensures they make their best decisions. Her motto, ‘Speak softly and know the market!’ Her clients have found that this negotiating style facilitates successful resolutions while her legal background affords her an edge in contract negotiating. But she believes it’s just her “get the job done” attitude that best serves to benefit her clients!
